Home Assistant
The RollingTail Home Assistant app runs Tailscale directly on your Home Assistant host. It provides secure remote access to Home Assistant and can optionally advertise local subnet routes, act as an exit node, or expose services on your tailnet.

Tailscale is free for personal and hobby projects within Tailscale's current device limits. Review Tailscale's pricing and terms for other use cases.
Get started
- Add the RollingTail Home Assistant repository to the Home Assistant Add-on Store.
- Install the Tailscale app.
- Start the app and open its Web UI.
- Authenticate the device with your Tailscale account.
- Check the app logs, then connect to Home Assistant over its tailnet address or MagicDNS name.
